Cambodia continues to strengthen its close partnership with the Republic of Korea as a delegation of Korean investors and journalists prepares to visit the country in mid-February. The visit aims to explore the current Cambodia business environment and understand clearer of safety and investment conditions on the ground.
In preparation for this meaningful exchange, Cambodian Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, Khuon Phon Rattanak, recently welcomed Park Joo Bong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Daejoo KC, during a courtesy call at the Cambodian Embassy in Seoul. Their discussion highlighted the strong and growing relationship between Cambodia and Korea, with a focus on trade, tourism, and cultural cooperation.

The Ambassador also shared updates on the Cambodian government’s proactive measures to strengthen trust and security, including ongoing efforts to address online crime. These initiatives reflect Cambodia’s commitment to creating a safe, transparent, and investor-friendly environment.
Mr. Park reaffirmed South Korea’s dedication to maintaining long-term cooperation with Cambodia and expressed appreciation for the government’s openness and collaboration. Around 20 Korean investors and media representatives will visit Cambodia as a participants to see real conditions for themselves and share accurate, firsthand insights with the Korean public.
The Cambodian Embassy warmly welcome the initiative, emphasizing that such visits support its continue efforts to promote factual reporting and build confidence among international investors and travelers. The Embassy also confirmes its readiness to assist the delegation by coordinating meetings with key ministries and institutions.
